Aaron’s new work, “Long Road to Freedom” was premiered at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in honour of Dr. Nelson Mandela’s 100th Anniversary Concert. Jensen was commissioned to write the new piece by Classical Movements for the 2018 Serenade! Washington DC Choral Festival as part of the Eric Daniel Helms New Music Program. The piece was premiered by Countermeasure. The concert was the largest organized celebration of Dr. Mandela in the world.
