SING! The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival

Aaron co-founded and acted as Artistic Director of SING! The Toronto Vocal Arts Festival for the inaugural six seasons. As A.D. he programmed over four hundred events, including headliner concerts, collaborative performances, workshops, school programs, and an interactive art piece. He booked some of the top vocal groups from around the world including Take 6, The Swingles, The Real Group, Rajaton, Naturally 7, and The Nylons, and presented interdisciplinary events merging the vocal arts with dance, visual art, storytelling, improv comedy, and film. SING! celebrates all genres of the vocal arts including choral, beatbox, gospel, folk, jazz, pop, live-looping, barbershop, overtone, shape note, and traditional musics from around the world. The festival enjoyed fruitful partnerships with Harbourfront Centre and Soulpepper Theatre, and has been recognized as a Top Festival & Event in Ontario for seven consecutive years. Aaron was named Artistic Director Emeritus in 2018.
